Amy Moorea Wong is a respected colour authority and contemporary interior design writer who has specialised in all things decorating for 15 years.

Amy is Livingetc magazine’s Colour Expert, Interiors Editor at The Glossary and a Contributing Editor at Homes & Gardens , alongside contributing to an array of publications on interior design and colour zeitgeist. Before going freelance, her former roles included Features Editor at ELLE Decoration UK and News Editor at Livingetc magazine.

Her contemporary interior design book Kaleidoscope: Modern Homes in Every Colour explores a collection of cool colourful homes fizzing with creativity, surprises and inspiration, from the bold and bright to the delicate and demure. Kaleidoscope has been featured across a spectrum of international publications such as ELLE Decoration UK, Livingetc, House & Garden, Red, Homes & Gardens, You and Better Homes & Gardens.

Working with clients to re-imagine the hues in their spaces, her beautifully considered palettes are punctuated with pops of the unexpected for a playful, dynamic and unique feel.

She also collaborates with interiors brands on product designs, recently working with lighting company Heathfield&Co on the Dusk table lamp collection, which is defined by a carefully selected edit of dream-like, hazy colours in unexpected combinations. Her collaboration with organic British cushion brand Mode Abode saw her create a surprising yet easy-to-live-with palette of bold shades mixing and matching with the more calm.

Amy passionately believes in the power of the home to ignite happiness, and that colour – whether on walls, ceilings, shelves, or sofas – shouldn't be intimidating, but embraced as a source of joy. Her love for deftly deployed primary colours natural materials in her home is something she is continually exploring.
